Privacy policy
Welcome to Alama Wardrobe.
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile app.
Please read this policy carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
Information We Collect
2.1 Personal Information
We may collect the following personal information:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Shipping address
- Billing address
- Payment information (e.g., credit card details)
2.2 Non-Personal Information
We may also collect non-personal information about you, including:
- Browser type
- Device type
- IP address
- Browsing behaviour (e.g., pages viewed, links clicked)
2.3 Device and Advertising Identifiers
Our mobile apps, and the third-party SDKs they include, collect identifiers that relate to your device or app installation:
- Advertising ID (the Google Advertising ID on Android, or the Advertising Identifier on iOS), used to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns
- Installation and messaging identifiers, such as a Firebase installation ID and a push notification token, used to deliver notifications and to understand how the app is used
- Install referrer information, used to attribute an app install to the campaign or shared link it came from
- An app-generated device identifier that we create ourselves to associate your device with your notification preferences
On iOS, we ask for your permission before your device’s Advertising Identifier is used to measure our advertising. If you decline, that identifier is not collected, and you can change your answer at any time in Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking.
We do not otherwise offer an in-app setting to switch this collection off. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your device’s own settings.

Data Protection
4.1 Security Measures
We use a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. These measures include SSL encryption, secure servers, and restricted access to personal data.
4.2 Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Sharing Your Information
5.1 Third-Party Services
We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our app, conducting our business, or servicing you. These third parties are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and secure. If you use AI-powered features (such as image enhancement or virtual try-on), inputs you provide may be sent to additional processors engaged solely to generate those outputs; those relationships are subject to the providers’ own terms and privacy notices.
5.2 Analytics and Advertising Partners
We use a mobile measurement partner to work out which advertising campaign or shared link brought you to the app. To do this, the device and advertising identifiers described in section 2.3 are shared with that partner, and onward with the advertising platforms we buy from — currently Meta and TikTok — so that installs and in-app milestones can be attributed to a campaign. We also share these identifiers with our analytics provider to understand how the app is used in aggregate.
This sharing is for advertising measurement and analytics. It does not include your wardrobe photos, and it is not a sale of your personal information. On iOS, sharing that relies on your device’s Advertising Identifier only happens if you allowed tracking when we asked.
5.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Your Rights
6.1 Access and Update
You have the right to access and update your personal information. You can do this by logging into your account on our website or by contacting us directly.
6.2 Opt-Out
You can opt-out of receiving promotional emails from us at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any email you receive from us or by contacting us directly.
6.3 Data Deletion
You can request the deletion of your personal data by contacting us. We will take reasonable steps to delete your information from our records, unless we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes.
