Delete your account

You can delete your Alama Wardrobe account and everything in it at any time. You do not need to contact us first, and you do not need a reason.

In the app

Open Profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. You will be asked to confirm twice, because it cannot be undone.

If you no longer have the app

Email hello@alama.co.uk from the address you signed up with, asking us to delete your account. Sending it from your sign-up address is how we confirm the request is yours — if you no longer have access to that inbox, write from any address and we will verify your identity another way before deleting anything.

We action these within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, username and photo
• Every item, outfit and collection in your wardrobe
• Your virtual try-ons and the photos you uploaded for them
• Your follows, followers and anything you shared to the feed
• Your notification preferences and saved settings

When it is gone for good

Deleting closes your account straight away — you are signed out, and your profile and looks stop being visible to anyone else. Your data is then held for 30 days before it is erased, so that an accidental deletion can be reversed. Contact us inside that window if you want your account back.

After 30 days it is erased and cannot be recovered. We keep only what the law requires us to keep — for example records of a purchase, for tax purposes. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel yours in the App Store or Google Play as well; deleting your account here does not cancel a subscription.
